Got the Sweet Tooth?? The Best (& Easiest Hacks) to Fight Evil

First and foremost, ALL (unused) sugar is bad for you. It doesn't matter in what form or the source. Even sugars in fruits can be overly consumed.

Sugar might be the most evil thing on planet earth. Interesting read: Sugar, the Most Evil Molecule

If sugar isn't doing what it was put on this earth to do (create energy and transport nutrients for production) it's hurting you. Like alcohol fermentation (vinasse & schlempe), leftover sugar in your body is detrimental (normally turning into fat, cholesterol, diabetes, heart clogs, etc.)

However, on that same note, sugar can be used to help build muscle, if taken at the right times, in relation to your workouts. But this post isn't about that.

There are strategies to prevent the sweet tooth as well. But this post isn't about that either.

Here's the trick...

1. Whenever you get the craving, eat your favorite protein bar/snack or drink your favorite protein shake. Since they still have sugar, you'll be quenched. The key is finding your favorite protein, one that you love and almost crave. Replacing snacks with protein makes a world of a difference. My current favorites are either The Complete Cookies, One protein bars, Black Magic protein shakes, Alpha Lion protein shakes (expensive). I'll start a list.

2. Another alternative is an animo acid drink.

3. Another alternative is to create your favorite oatmeal (with syrup, honey, cinnamon, brown sugar, cane, etc.). At least with this option you get oats. Throw in some nuts to complete it. Add a fruit or some have some vitamins and you essentially could skip a meal.

4. Another alternative - determine your 3 favorite fruits that you love and can eat in any circumstance. Keep those available or in mind.

5. Another alternative is to chew some gum.

6. Another alternative is to embrace the craving and save it immediately before or immediately after your workout. Hence the rice krispies hype.

7. Worst case scenario, eat your sugar, brush your teeth and do a quick baby-weight dumbbell burn on your favorite muscle group. Like 100 reps, with burn starting halfway.

8. Since sugar is evil, you can always pray about it too :D
